Brotherhood of Steel
The Brotherhood of Steel are either known as an organization committed to protecting and serving humanity, or an overzealous order who would reign as tyrants over the wasteland and its people, depending on who you asked. The Brotherhood is committed to their order and structure as well as their mission to keep dangerous technology out of the hands of the undeserving and undesirable. No matter your option on the Brotherhood of Steel, there is no denying they have a strong chain of command and a goal that unifies them. This can make them make strong allies or formidable enemies.

History
The Southeast Brotherhood of Steel were formed out of an expedition sent south from the Capital Wasteland in 2272 to seek out medical supplies and potentially clues leading to the source of the super mutants found on the east coast by Elder Lyons, before the elder went rogue. On discovering their home base had abandoned the Brotherhood, the expedition leader, Jana Banks, decided they would establish a new chapter in the Southeast Commonwealth.
Upon finding The Citadel, they were met with high-tech automated defenses that had fended off scavengers for the last two centuries. Thanks to their technology competence, the scribes of the new Southeast chapter were able to disable the defenses and grant them all access to an untouched pre-war military college, complete with equipment, supplies, and a few vertibirds.
Since then, the Southeast Commonwealth chapter has been conducting expeditions into the Charleston area, seeking out pre-war technology and weapons that they believe should not fall into the wrong hands.
Notable Members
Interaction with members of the Southeast Brotherhood of Steel are not rare, aside from the occasional vertibird fly-over and diplomatic efforts with Westside and Battery City.
Elder Jana Banks
After Paladin Banks led the orphaned expedition force to The Citadel and was able to establish communications with Lost Hills, she was promoted to the rank of Elder and was ordered to explore the Southeast Commonwealth while keeping tabs on Lyons' Brotherhood of Steel in tandem with Arthur Maxson in the Commonwealth.
Lancer Captain Armisten
After communications were established with the rest of the Brotherhood of Steel, Knight Armisten took it upon himself to get the vertibirds back up and running so he could learn to pilot them with instructions from Maxson's chapter. Knight Armisten became the first Lancer in the Southeast chapter, and led early expeditions out into some of the most dangerous areas in the territory, including the Glowing Marsh. Soon he was promoted to the rank of Lancer Captain, and oversees all flight missions for the chapter.
Head Scribe Mortarion
Scribe "Morty" Mortarion was the lead scribe on the original expedition that form the Southeast chapter. He is inquisitive and well-versed in exploring the wastelands. After volunteering for many missions in the area once a base was established at The Citadel, Scribe Mortarion's knowledge and experience led to Elder Banks promoting him to the Head Scribe for the chapter. He now runs the chapter's Library in The Citadel after retiring from field missions.
