The Rebuilders

The Rebuilders are a humanitarian organization based out of Battery City. Since their founding, The Rebuilders have been lobbying the wealthy founding families to spare resources to take on public good projects, like annexing The Huguenots church and pacifying Westside to get access to the Medical Center.

While The Rebuilders have lobbied for military intervention from Battery City, they are generally pacifists who rely on the protection of the community.

The Rebuilders are currently headquartered in the Medical Center, but they maintain a clinic in Battery City.

History

Battery City was lucky. The Vault experiment would have had them open the Vault doors a decade sooner than they did, which would have exposed the entire population to deadly radiation. But their food supplies were self-sustaining, they were purifying water from the river, and there air supply was safe they decided to ignore the "all-clear" signal and stick it out a while longer.

The Rebuilders do not take that luck lightly, and formed from a group of citizens who this was their chance to help rebuild the Southeast Commonwealth into a better society that focuses on advancing humanitarian goals than investing in weapons and military efforts.

Notable Members

The Rebuilders are led by Diane Parker out of the Medical Center, and her second in command Beau Lane who works out of the Battery City medical clinic.

Diane Parker

Matriarch of the The Parkers and head of The Rebuilders, Diane Parker uses her connections with founding families of Battery City to lobby them for support. The assistance usually comes in the form of financial donations, Parker has convinced Mayor Carla Chapin to use the The Watchmen to achieve The Rebuilders goals through force.

Beau Lane

Diane Parker's second-in-command, Beau runs the Battery City medical clinic as a part of the deal for pacifying Westside. Beau does not dislike his position as he is in a safe area and the wealthy citizens treat him with respect. He tries not to rock the boat and just follow Diane Parker's orders while avoiding conflict with any of the founding families.

Arnold Parker

Arnold Parker leads municipal maintenance efforts at Vault 43 in Battery City. He is generally well liked and is one of the few people who is admired amongst all of the founding families. This is due to his willingness to take on apprentices based on merit instead of political maneuvering.

Brianna Parker

Brianna Parker is the head mistress for the Rebuilder's Orphange in Wappoo. Despite Wappoo's rough reputation, businesses in the town donate heavily to the orphanage, and Brianna uses those funds to keep the children well-fed, well-clothed, and even reasonably well-educated.
