The United States Armed Forces (USAF)

The USAF are the combined remnants of the United States government and military branches in the Southeast Commonwealth that survived the bombs. They are a shadow of their former selves, but still maintain stockpiles of military equipment. They are headquartered in Joint Base Charleston, and fight for control over the Charleston International Airport with a coalition of raider bands to the east, and Charleston Executive Airport with the CSS.

Notable Members

The main leadership of the USAF is located in Fort McPherson in Atlanta, GA. It is currently led by General Eli Jackson.

Colonel Leslie Stackhouse

Col. Stackhouse is currently in command of the USAF in the Charleston, SC area. She is stationed at Joint Base Charleston. She has been tasked with recapturing both airports in the Charleston area, and is specifically focusing on recapturing Charleston International Airport.

Director Henry Stohl

Director Stohl oversees all USAF logistical and bureaucratic operations in the Charleston area. He is stationed at Joint Base Charleston and manages requisitions, supply lines, and assigning administrators to USAF occupied territories.

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Torres

Lt. Col. Torres is currently stationed near the Medical Center. While Col. Stackhouse focuses on recapturing Charleston International Airport, Lt. Col. Torres has been tasked with recapturing Charleston Executive Airport from the CSS. Lt. Col. Torres also oversees shipping supplies upriver to Joint Base Charleston and downriver to Sumter.

Ambassador Tonya Chestnut

Ambassador Chestnut is stationed at Battery City and is seeking to expand the USAF's influence into the city and beyond. She is in charge of all USAF operations in Battery City, though they are permitted to only station a limited number of troops there.

Major Ronald Li

Maj. Ronald Li is stationed at Sumter, and commands the outpost responsible for defending Charleston Harbor from pirate raiders. While he keeps the guns pointed at the harbor, he keeps and eye out west for CSS forces.

Major Eduardo "Eddy" Thatch

Maj. Eddy Thatch is stationed at Island Plaza, and commands the outpost responsible for keeping trade routes along Folly Road safe. Additionally, he keeps an eye on CSS at the Charleston Executive Airport and is awaiting orders to launch a counter-attack against them.
